What is Mugwort?
Chinese Mugwort, also known as Artemisia Argyi, has been used for centuries in TCM treatments (Moxibustion) and in food due to its medicinal properties. Chinese Mugwort is known for its numerous benefits and highly recommended by physicians for properties such as dispelling dampness, stimulating blood circulation and enhancing women’s health.
Other common uses for Mugwort include treating cold hands and feet, gingivitis, intestinal problems such as constipation, chills, and insomnia.
Benefits of Foot Soak:
According to Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), if the human body were a tree, the head would be the branches, the body would be the trunk, and the feet would be the roots. As a result, we must nourish our roots in order to treat our ailments. When you soak your feet, the heart rate is increased (better blood circulation) similarly to when you exercise, which is good for people who lead sedentary lifestyles.
